We are usually open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.30pm, except on Bank Holidays and for training afternoons.

Our appointments are carefully managed to ensure that patients with serious conditions requiring assessment on the day can be fitted in. When it becomes clear that we are approaching the number of appointments left which are needed for serious conditions, the telephone message will inform you that we only have appointments left for emergencies. Please consider seeking advice from your pharmacist, dentist or optician as appropriate whenever possible. The appointments message may appear earlier on some mornings than others due to the number of patients who are now booking through Patient Access or the AskNHS app.

If you require urgent medical advice or help for a situation which is not life-threatening when we are closed , please dial 111.

loss of consciousness
acute confused state and fits that are not stopping
persistent, severe chest pain
breathing difficulties

Health Visitor Clinics

We are closed on Bank Holidays.

Call 999 in a medical emergency. This is when someone is seriously ill or injured and their life is at risk.

Medical emergencies can include:

• fits that aren't stopping
• chest pain
• breathing difficulties
• severe bleeding that can't be stopped
• severe allergic reactions
• severe burns or scalds

Call 999 immediately if you or someone else is having a heart attack or stroke. Every second counts with these conditions.

Also call 999 if you think someone has had a major trauma, such as after a serious road traffic accident, a stabbing, a shooting, a fall from height, or a serious head injury.

If it's not a life-threatening emergency and you or the person you're with doesn't need immediate medical attention, please consider other options before dialling 999.
